Family Grief Therapy (For Families Experiencing a Loss or Medical Trauma)
- Together, we will listen and empathize with each family member’s experience with the medical trauma or the loss. 
- Understand shifts in the family structure causing dysfunction. 
- Assist the family with understanding and adapting to new structure. 
- Focus on communication, cohesion, and conflict resolution. 
Family with Special Needs Child/Children:
- We will listen and empathize with each family member’s experience as a collective. 
- We will support neurotypical siblings in feeling heard and understood. We will ensure positive communication and respect. 
- The therapist will provide psychoeducation around the needs of neurotypical and neurodivergent by exploring parenting styles. 
- Practice self-regulation among family members and eliminate conflict between parent and child or child and sibling. 
- Build family connection through awareness, patience, and respect.
